Robbery, Clontarf Police are investigating the robbery of a video store on Hornibrook Esplanade today. Just after 1.30pm, 3 women and 2 men entered the store and began speaking with the attendant before leaving. A short time later one man returned and began looking at titles on the shelves. It’s alleged he then approached the attendant making threats of violence before moving behind the counter and demanding the female attendant open the cash register. The man has then taken an amount of cash before leaving the store. He was last seen on foot heading in an easterly direction towards Clontarf beach. No one was injured during the incident. The man is described as aged in his early 20s, Aboriginal in appearance, approximately 170 centimetres tall with a stocky build. He has a dark complexion and short dark hair. He was wearing a faded blue t-shirt with writing on the front and blue shorts. Views: 140 |
